Reflections of today’s change events.
Last night, when I came home from Sydney, I thought to myself, I am going to take the change skills that I have learnt from University and apply it at home. So I have embarked on a change journey with my girl friend Lizzie, who was very hesitant at the time, but I thought to myself, “If I can’t change a loved one, how can I change a team? “ So I had noticed that we have some patterns on things we do around the house that is habitual. For example, I sit on one side of the couch and Lizzie will sit on the other side of the coach. So on that night, while watching TV I decided to change sides of the couch. We also have this habit of sleeping on the same side of one bed in our house. By the way we have three beds in the house. One spare bed in the guest room and also one fold out couch bed. So we are rotating which side of the bed we sleep on and also which bed we sleep in.
This morning, I woke up and had a shower. Normally Lizzie will cook breakfast for the both of us (as she is the far better cook than I am) but I wanted to change that habit, so I decided to cook the breakfast for us. We also sat at different seats at a different table for breakfast, which was normally inside watching TV. But this time was outside while listening to the Storm bird whistle.
After doing some research for the group assignment, I got a phone call from a recruitment agency who…
